    Dearest Diana,

Wishing you a Happy Easter as well.

Got way behind due to going to Easter Vigil that lasted 3 hours… chaos!

This morning the Mass where I sing in the chorus at a different Church was perfect. We had also the orchestra and had to practice at 9:00 AM before Mass.

Loved singing again the HΓ€ndel’s Messiah at the end and it went perfect and such a joy that the Church was well attended.

Next we got invited for dinner at a friend’s home; a lovely Easter for both of us!

    Hugs,

    Mariette

      Wow, three hours!

You are so blessed to have been part of the singing of the “Messiah!” I do not have the voice for being part of a chorus, but I do love listening and joining in on the worship music!

Happy Easter (belated) to you and Pieter! Hugs and blessings!

Happy Easter, dear Diana. It’s late in the evening on Sunday and it’s been a wonderfully busy day. We went to Sunrise service at church and then had breakfast in the fellowship hall. It was wonderful. Afterwards we attended the normal 10:00 service and visited awhile afterwards. We didn’t get home until well after noon. Then we visited our daughter’s family for a few hours after they had lunch with her in-laws at their home. (I had made Easter dinner yesterday for our family so they could be with Brad’s family today with no guilt! :-).) The evening was spent with Mom and we’ve just come home.

It was a wonderful day of celebrating our Lord and His rising from the grip of death. Hallelujah!

    Blessings and hugs,

    Betsy

Happy Easter, dearest Betsy! (Somewhat belated, but sincerely meant all the same!)

I truly missed being able to go to our church in person for Easter, but we watched it online. It was such a beautiful, special message by our Pastor. I’m so thankful for Christ the Savior who died on the cross to save me from myself. Allelujah! Amen!

Hugs and blessing, my dear friend!

It was just me and Jerry for the day. We watched the service online as we couldn’t make it in person. It was such a beautiful, special message by our Pastor.

Have a lovely blessed week, my friend!

CAN’T FIX IT

We don’t get to pick the trials our children (or grandchildren) go through. This is one of the hardest things about parenting (grandparenting). And I don’t remember being warned about it. It’s so hard when you want to fix it and can’t.
